Problem Solving: Trim an ALGAE-INFESTED Aquascape for an instant better result
You rarely see massive algae infestation in our showroom tanks, but sometimes we also had to face the beast. Diatom is one of the first algae that might appear in your aquarium. You have many ways to handle that at home, including blackout or adding more algae eaters, since you do not need to solve the problem immediately. Sometimes you do not have that luxury. After two weeks, this aquarium got a diatom outbreak, and we knew a quick trimming would be the best way to handle that. The aquarium on the following days was already stunning, but we waited for the plants to grow back to show you the result.
